Non-Commercial Modification and Browser Porting Licence

Licensee: Sooryakiran P

Original Work: Miki's World 2, an originally developed game from 2006.


1. GRANT OF PERMISSION

The Licensor grants Sooryakiran P a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access, modify, adapt, repair, and port Miki's World 2 into a browser-playable version.


2. NON-COMMERCIAL USE ONLY

The Licensee may distribute, publish, host, and allow others to play the modified browser version free of charge only.

The Licensee shall not:
- Sell the game or any modified version.
- Charge for access, downloads, hosting, or gameplay.
- Monetise the game through advertisements, sponsorships, paid features, donations tied to access, or other commercial arrangements.
- Use the game or its assets for commercial purposes.


3. OWNERSHIP AND COPYRIGHT

All rights, title, and interest in the original Miki's World, including its original code, characters, artwork, story, name, and other assets, remain with the Licensor.

This licence does not transfer ownership of the original game to the Licensee. Any ownership or licensing rights concerning newly created modifications shall remain subject to applicable law and any separate written agreement between the parties.


4. DISTRIBUTION AND ATTRIBUTION

The Licensee may make the browser version publicly available at no charge, provided that the copyright notice and this licence accompany the game or are accessible from its project page.

Suggested notice:

"Original game Miki's World 2 (c) [2006]. Browser port and modifications by Sooryakiran P, used under a non-commercial licence."


5. RESTRICTIONS ON SUBLICENSING

The Licensee may not grant third parties permission to commercially exploit the game or its assets, nor may the Licensee transfer this licence to another person without the Licensor's prior written consent.


6. NO WARRANTY

The original game and its assets are provided "as is", without any warranty of functionality, continued availability, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.


7. TERMINATION

The Licensor may terminate this licence by written notice if the Licensee materially breaches its conditions and fails to remedy the breach within 14 days of receiving notice. Upon termination, the Licensee must cease distributing and using the game and its assets, except where applicable law requires otherwise.


8. GOVERNING LAW

This licence shall be governed by the laws of [Insert Country or Jurisdiction].


9. ACCEPTANCE

By accepting this licence, the Licensee agrees to comply with all conditions stated above.
